Chris has an excellent sound system of up to four kilowatts, including Electrovoice, speakers and bass bins, with a Mackie mixing desk. If a larger system is required, we have a number of P.A companies we can use. If the main front of house system is already in place for an event, we can bring our own mics, stands, monitors etc. and give the sound engineer a mix from our system. If you require us to use your own P.A system, our requirements are listed on the website. The band may be using radio mics and guitar transmitters. These allow performers to interact with the audience. At certain times, only the drummer remains on stage!
We have our own lighting to create just the right mood, for any occasion. Minimum power requirements for the bands are two 13 amp sockets (not trailing plug boards.)
Also on the website, are our minimum stage sizes for seven and ten piece bands. Set up times for the band is from 1½ to 2½ hours, depending on the size of the band and access to the stage. If we are running our own discotheque in conjunction with the band, the D.J. will be using the band’s sound system and lights. The set up times for the duo are 30 minutes to 1 hour, again depending on the access etc.
Minimum stage sizes for the ten-piece band are eight metres x four metres, the seven piece band- seven x four.
Chris has public liability insurance, up to £5 million & full certificates of electrical safety for all equipment.
